Moon Frame

It is a clever and useful solution that facilitates the use of every centimetre of the campervan. The Moon Frame complements the car’s standard construction. It is resistant to moisture and condensation. Once fitted it will last for many journeys.
Construction of Moon Frame
If you want to install overhead cabinets, like the Moon Box type, it’s important to consider reinforcing your car’s structure. The most effective way to do this is by using Moon Frame mounting strips. These strips can be mounted between the roof bulkheads and the side boards of the car.
How to select the crossbars?
Measure the distances between the bulkheads (ribs) on the roof of the car and select the appropriate Moon Frame length. If the standard Moon Frame lengths cannot fit into the space between the bulkheads in the car structure, it will be necessary to cut them to the intended size or to connect the two using the Moon Frame Connector.
Length is adjustable by tightening the locking screws in the correct position – each Moon Frame has one end, which is adjustable and screwed onto 4 self-controlling screws once fixed at the desired length. The holes used to attach the Moon Frame to the car body have a special bean shape to facilitate the final setting of the mounting angle – and their final adjustment to the surface of the car structure is done by bending them over – so that they fit exactly to the surface of the construction part.
You can also adjust the length of the Moon Frame by cutting it to your desired size. Simply use an aluminum saw or a jigsaw with the appropriate blade. The process is straightforward and lets you perfectly customize the frame for your project.
